Equipment & Technologies

ATC's composite facility will manufacture parts and components for commercial aircraft. The composite technology will be based on Clean Room Lay-up & Autoclave Curing.

This special process starts from cutting plies of the prepreg fabric/tape.
followed by placing the layers on a mold in the clean room, and curing in an autoclave .

The facility will use the following equipment:

• • Autoclaves
  • Automated guided vehicles for moving the composites tools into the autoclaves.
  • Automated composites cutting machine
  • 10 axis 3D contour gantry squirter system
  • Automated immersion inspection system with optional phased array
  • Hot drape forming
  • Computerized Measuring Machine
